— You MUST be age 18 or over to receive a kit in order to comply with local stun gun / OC spray laws.
*NOTE: Stun guns are NOT legal to own or carry in every city / state in the US. The city of Philadelphia, PA repealed its ban on stun guns in 2017. Please be aware of stun gun / TASER laws when traveling or moving, as some states require permits of ownership like Illinois or ban them completely like Massachusetts and Hawaii. The state of Pennsylvania does not require permits for carrying stun guns or pepper spray.
— Community members with assault felony records, pending charges, certain psychiatric disabilities recognized by the state, and citizenship status (undocumented), are sometimes legally prohibited from carrying certain self-defense items. If you have been impacted by the state or criminal punishment system in this way, please research possible restrictions that are specific to your case prior to requesting a kit.
